playing audio
Hi all,
I'm creating a database system which is accessed through a web browser. Some of my database records are audio and I attempt to play audio through the web browser. It plays ok on windows however, when i try the same thing on unix i get the error message "sh: /usr/local/bin/sox: not found. Is sox some sort of program i need to play the audio? The audio is in wav format by the way. Ta, Manni |

"sox" is an audio conversion package. Its homepage is here: http://sox.sourceforge.net/
Your application seems to require it, so your best bet would be installing it. hth, M.
