PROC command
I'm writing a program that gets info such as processor type, kernel version, and amt of time since the system was last booted. I'm using the proc commands but got no idea where to start. I'm not sure what "/proc/...." commands to use to do what. Anyone know any good proc tutorials or where to start please let me know.
THANKS. |

What Unix is this? If Linux, you can simply use uname -m && uname -r && uptime
