ps command

Hi,

When I run the ps command, part of the output string is cut off at the end of each line, is there a way to increase that space? Is the amount of space avaialble for each ps line precompiled into the kernel or can that be changed?

Thanks
Rhyme

It depends of the version of UNIX. Some versions have a switch
to wrap the output line, others do not. Nothing to do with the
kernel.
