qmail and tcpserver errors
My company uses qmail on a Solaris 8 server. Sendmail is not running. We have been getting this error over and over.
smtp: [ID 748625] mail.info] tcpserver: fatal:unable to bin: address already in use A ps indicates tcpserver is started by qmail processes but their helpdesl is of no help. This message repeats and repeats constantly. Any ideas what could cause it? Thanks Christine |

I have qmail on a Solaris 2.8 Ultra 10.
I can't login on a console screen remote as any user is ok. An fuser shows that qmail uses /dev/console, lots. I"ve killed all other ttymon processes. Is it qmail? What can I kill and whats the impact? Thanks |
