Regarding usb flash drive in unixterminal

Hi guys,
Can anybody tell how to view , copy and paste the content from or to the USB flash drive IN THE UNIX TERMINAL. i mean i do know how to mount a floppy and view the content .As new sun microsystems are available with USB ports,it is becoming difficult for me to open the content from unix terminal.. pls can anybody help me regarding this..??
