You don't need a fax machine to get faxes. Get a fax-to-email fax number from CallWave. Try it free.

restrict user to specific directory
Hello all,
I have site that has the following directory structure: myuser=>www => cgi-local myuser=>www => mydomain.com Right now there is one user and the sites permissions are set to run off that one user. I want to add a user and only give them access to mydomain.com (not cgi-local). The only access they will have is FTP. I can restrict them to FTP easy enough, but I do not know how to restrict them to a particular directory. I know I can change the groups around to make each have their own group, but I am not a Unix admin so I was looking for an easy solution. Any thoughts? - Mark |

you can restrict access to a given resource. how you implement this depends on the web server you are using? which web server are you running?
