Can someone please help me to do create a script accomplishing different tasks ???
Write a bash script to accomplish the following tasks. Each section should have a header explaining what the section contains.
a. Create a report with the following details:
b. Show the mtime of the /var/log/messages file.
c. Show how much disk space, in human-friendly terms, being used by the entire /var directory tree.
d. Include a list of all processes running on the system -- this list should include the start time of the process, the username of the account running the process and the entire command line for these processes.
e. Show a list of all files in the entire /tmp directory tree which are readable by any user.
f. Report on how many accounts on the system are using the bash shell.
g. Produce an alphabetically sorted list of accounts on the system. Only the usernames should be in the list.
h. Produce an alphabetically sorted list of all packages installed on the system.
