SSH using group user account

SSH using group user account

I am trying to communicate between two machines using SSH without needing a password. The difficulty I am having is that when I try to do this using a group account it always asks for a password. I have been able to get it working using a regular user account, so I know I am setting up the keys properly. Does anyone know why there is an issue with the group account? Is this possibly an authentication issue and is there some way around it?

I am new to unix, so any help is very greatly appreciated...
