Timeout waitinf for ARP/RARP packet - on bootscreen
Hi,
we had a power cut last night and now the server wont get past boot screen. it keeps saying Quote:
What can it be, it was working fine before the power went off? Can anyone help Thanks andy |

Does your server boot up using BOOTP, instead of from hard disk? The message sounds like it can't contact the boot server to download the OS. Make sure that the boot server is up and running the BOOTP daemon.

Is this a Sun box? If so, your EEPROM is set to boot from the network, not the drive.
