Turning off ports

I need to disable ports 80, 443 and 137,138,139 on HP-UX 11v2.

What can I do aside from running a firewall? I know /etc/services is not the answer.

What do you mean "disable"? The ports you listed are used by webservers and Windows machines.

To close port 80/443 simply shut down your http daemon.

Best bet is to tcp wrap the others.
