Unix Emulator
I was wondering if anyone knew of a windows program, preferrably freeware, that would emulate a Unix box for training and learning purposes? Any direction would be appreciated. Thank you.

I like Damn Small Linux, which is a small (50Mb) linux distribution which will run completely self-contained within windows. It has many linux packages and should set up by itself very easily.
You may also have some luck using something like Knoppix, or Mandrake Move. These are bootable operating systems, you put them in the cd drive, and reboot windows. They'll load themselves into RAM, and run quite happily (and won't touch or affect the existing windows partition). Reboot, and your back with your windows machine. --Simon
