Question UNIX noob
Hello,
I am new to programming on UNIX machines and am pretty lost. I would like to know how to create C programs in a UNIX enviroment. I have downloaded cygwin as well to try and access Emacs and a C compiler on my home PC (Windows based), but I don't know what to do. I am currently using PuTTY to access my college's server which has the UNIX machines on them from my home PC as well. Any help greatly appreciated!
