Question UNIX + Raid 5

The company I work for just "promoted" me into Unix Server support and I have a Sco 5.05 box that has 5 hard drives 2 are in a mirror with the OS and the other 3 are in a RAID 5
Some brilliant mind that is higher than me knew the RAID 5 allready had 1 hard drive bad and never did replace it for about a month. Once I found out I was starting to get the process done to replace the hard drive and within 12 hours drive 2 failed and the whole RAID was gone
My quandry is I dont really know how to get UNIX to see the RAID. I got the RAID rebuilt now I need the OS to see the RAID and mount it so I can restore the backup data
I did some research and came up with makedv as the command that needs to be ran
I know some Linux, so I familliar with the basic commands
From the hardware setup I was able to recreate the RAID but it might now be formated/partitioned yet
