unix with vpn

i have successfully established a vpn tunnel between two networks, the problem i am having is getting the unix box to be recognized by the remote network. we can ping all the window boxes and the vpn router but not the unix box. all computers are dhcp enabled in the 192.192.192.x ip range. the vpn routers ip address is 192.192.192.192 the unix box ip address is 192.192.192.1 and the broad cast address is 192.192.192.255. what am i missing or what needs to be done to complete this connection. i am running mas200 client on the remote network and need the vpn connection for mas200 on the unix box.
