User Privileges
Hello All,
I am new to unix.I am developing a application using weblogic I start the weblogic as root and switch to the weblogic user . Before switching to the weblogic user the root creates a directory and after switch to weblogic user the weblogic user reads and writes into the same folder the root creates. My problem is the weblogic user doesnot have the permissions to read and write into that folder.ANd the directory is created whenever the weblogic is started. How to overcome this ? Any suggestions?? Thanks ravi |

Your root umask sounds pretty strict.
>How to overcome this ? chmod the directory after you create it but before changing from root. |
