Using init.d for startup
Hi,
I am using tomcat 4.1 on unix, and I would like it to start up automatically whenever the sytem boots up. 1. How can I do so, and do I have to use init.d folder to put in a script there? 2. What will be the role of rc?.d files that scripts in init.d refer to? Any solution will be appreciated very much. Thanks in advance, Rommel Sharma. |

In order to help you, you need to tell the forum what version
of "unix" you are using. Is it HP-UX, AIX, Solaris or what? - F |
