A 403 is forbidden iirc. Make sure the file and full path has read directory. If the file is uploaded to some webhost in the / (root) directory 'chmod 755' to all the viewable files and this should fix the problem. If you still have the problem and have root on the box make sure the directory is configured in apache with <directory>.

    Hope this helps.

Here's my attempt at a more human language!
By the way iirc means 'if I remember correctly'.

Are you running the webserver your self or do you pay for with some hosting company?

What you probably need to do it get an ftp client that supports the command 'CHMOD' . I'd recommend using FlashFxp (http://www.flashfxp.com/) for uploading your files. The CHMOD command it a permission command. It changes who can view a file, i.e only you or everyone. If your files aren't viewable by everyone or atleast the webserver you will see a 403 error on your website.

I belive in today's computerized world, a world where business' communicate via email and instant messaging it's vital to have an understand of 'IRC acronyms'. Google will explain..
