    List different files

I was wondering how I would be able to list the information of files that are in one directory, but not the other?

I understand that ls -al junk1 junk2 would list the long information of all files in both directories. I also understand that diff junk1 junk2 would list the files that are in junk1 and not junk2. What I can't wrap my head around is how I'd display the information on just the files that are different.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Try:
    Code:
    diff -q junk1 junk2

I tried using diff -q junk junk2 and it just did the exact same thing as diff junk junk2. I still can't see the (long) information on the files that are different.
