I'm trying to configure my Unix box to receive email from work. I know the server (let's say it's called mail.domain.com). It's a POP3 server. I just can't seem to get sendmail.cf correct. Any help?

You should not edit sendmail.cf manually unless you are a very experienced sendmail admin.
Use the files in /etc/mail and, if necessarry, the m4 macros that came with the package. But sendmail is usually preconfigured for "simple" setup like yours.
Which unix are you using and where did you get sendmail from? Nevermind... Because this is not the point here anyway...
POP3 doesn't need sendmail (=SMTP!) at all. Use fetchmail to download the mail to your local user's account. fetchmail can be configured for this with a one-liner
