Smile A quick question concerning command buttons

Ok,
I know this should be easy but it's got me stumped. Here is the problem. My program runs great but I have several command buttons. As a result I have to tab and press enter alot. Instead I would like to be able to assign a certain letter to each command button. Now I know you can assign access keys an shortkut keys but they both require that I press at least two keys. I would like to do it simply by pressing one key like "M" for Map or "S" for show. In other words instead of enter being my default I would like to set that property to other keys. Can some please help me.
Thanks in advance,
