Compiling a vb.net program
is there a way i can compile a vb.net project? i tried to send out the .exe file that was created when I ran my program, but everybody that got it, had the same error:
[error]The application failed to intialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.[/error] i was thinking it was just because they dont have the latest vb.net files, but im not sure. Maybe there is a way i could convert it to vb6 (but i dont have vb6 installed and i dont even have the disc). Thanks for your help. |

to run a .net program the user will need the .net framework installed on his or her computer (the downside to .net). fortunately this is a free download from microsoft but unfortunately it is around 20 megs. not good if you have dial up.

Shouldnt be a problem if you keep up-to-date with your windows updates.
