forms turns black

hello vb idols, i'm experiencing an odd problem in vb. When i opened up my vb and start to create a new project, the form that loads is filled with black though you can still the dotted grid lines. But when you run vb the black form turns into a normal gray color, but when you're in the edit mode the form is black. Another odd thing that i notice is that the fillcolor and the forecolor is black so i tried to change the fillcolor and nothing happens but when i change the forecolor the color of the form also changes, isn't forecolor properties are for texts or captions only. and as far as i know when you change a fillcolor or forecolor's color you can choose from either in palette and system, and i know the default of the system tab is button face and the box besides it is colored gray though mine is black. What should i do to restore it's original setting?

U can edit form's backcolor to chang form's color..Fillcolor Property is used to set color be filled..U can find it in msdn..
