function to open another access database
Hi guys,
I'm trying to write a function in MS Access to open another access database. I've tried various methods and although they seem to work, (i.e. no errors pop up) nothing opens! The path to the database is C:\Parentaid\Parentaid Database.mdb. My function looks like this: PHP Code:
Any ideas why this wouldn't work?

Did you copy and paste that code directly into the message board? If so, you are missing a slash in the database path.
Oh! I see, the message parser must automatically remove the "\" (forward slashes). Sorry. Not sure why it wouldn't work. It works for me. What OS are you running? What version of Office? |
