How do I query component attributes?

Hello. I am attempting to write a program that can query the attributes of an activated component. For instance, once a component activates, the status is shown in component services (in call, pooled, call time, etc.)

My goal is to query all of the components on a server looking for unusal values in one or more of these attributes. Since component services can query and display this, I have to assume that it can be done programatically. Can anyone tell me how to do this? What method do I look at? Where should I start?
