I don't really know. I took one adventure down winsock programming lane using the free socketwrench control, and it seems to me the sample data transfer program had error trapping during the transfer.

But i can't find any knowledge about how to make code to implement the function of brokenly transfer data in the socketwrench control...Can u tell about it? THx Again!!.

It's been a couple years since I messed with that control, my recollection is there are some sample vb projects on the catalyst website, maybe in their tutorials or faq's.

I don't have any of the old VB code I worked with online anymore.

THx Doug G! I find a sample code to implement same function in the www.vbip.com.
This sample has this function:
Resume the broken data transfer operations in any direction.
