Int/Adv Media File Saving / Loading Question
I'm using Visual Basic 2008 at the moment, and I'm trying to learn something about file usage with very little luck.
What I'm trying to do is combine multiple .WAV files into a single file as a custom extension. I'm just trying to figure out mainly how to make some kind of basic archive file to put files in. I'd also like to see if I can load that file, split the original files out into memory and list and play them in a windows media control. I'm sure this is probably some basic wheel reinvention, but I'm just doing this as a learning experience. Does anyone have any ideas or examples or resources/tutorials. Thanks. ![]() |

Even a little part of any of this would help, because I'm just having trouble tracking down documentation based on that I don't know the terminology to get any good search results.

You need to review the .wav file format specs and split your files to adhere to this. Um ... happy reading ;-)
alternate format link google search
