I have a Typhoon webcam and i want to make a software that will take a picture and store it in a file.
How can i interface the webcam with VB applications?I don't have any SDK(logitech provides a separate SDK for its Cams) |

If I was going to try to capture video using VB, I would look for an ActiveX control that I could drop on a form to do the video capture. I know there's a variety of controls available to access cameras, scanners, barcodes, etc.
I'm sure they range from free to expensive depending on your needs. Here's a link to a commercial one that cost $30 and another for $178. http://www.vbxtras.com/products/videocapx.asp http://www.vbxtras.com/products/capturepro.asp If you search around you might be able to find some freeware. I never did what you are attempting so I can't give you a specific recommendation. |
