Item_Send code

I am trying to track recipients of a forwarded form in Outlook.
I have done a fair bit of investigation in how to do it and have discovered that the easiest way would be to insert code into an Item_Send function which would append each recipient's name into a user-defined 'History' Field.
This would be an ideal solution to my problem, but since my programming knowledge is very limited I was hoping someone would be able to help me out!!
