Cool Macro available from any Worksheet

I have a suite of simple macros which replicate those pesky little tasks that most non-technical users do manually over and over (e.g., change the page layout to Landscape or Portrait depending on what type of worksheet they open, etc). The ultimate goal is to have a toolbar containing several of these buttons, each one performing one of the common tasks. I have been able to do this for a particular worksheet but the goal is to have these macros available from ANY worksheet. Is it possible to store the macros in something like the normal.dot in Word instead of one particular worksheet? Thanks.

In Word, normal.dot is the standard "template" users have. Excel has a similar file, it's called the personal workbook.

For macros, Excel can save the macro to the current workbook, or it can save to what it calls the Personal Macro Workbook
This would then act as "global" area to store your macros for use in all workbooks.
