motorola UPA programming (serial port queries)
hello I am just starting to learn how to program in visual basic and I am wanting to begin by sending requests for information to a serial port device called a UPA (Universal Programming Adaptor) that is for programming motorola pagerthe pager in question is a dragonball processor product in case this helps at all.
I know nothing about serial port programming in VB and would like a link possably to a on line Tutorial for such (I have lots of patients) thanks in advance |

oh and I have some info from a query done by a software package that already does this process but it hides a lot of info and I want to begin when done to reprogram the pager to be more of a PDA (full qwerty keyboard and lcd screen)
