Wondering if anyone knew how to search a network for MySQL servers like you can do for MSSQL servers. My situation is as follows, login form with a combobox where you can select an MSSQL server to loginto. any ideas? theories, code!?

You will have to write your own 'port scan' looking for 3306. You will have to handle the situation where some machines are not running on port 3306.
