Need help with wireless
First off, this question is for either Visual Basic or C++. I just didn't want to post it twice.

I'm looking to build a wireless survey tool. I've seen a few online but most of them have more than I need or not quite what i'm looking for.

Any ideas on where I would start to get going on wireless network programming? My end result here is to be able to build a program that will
  • Grab an IP address if DHCP is enabled on the wireless network
  • Give me the SSID
  • WEP or not?
  • Channel

I don't really need anything else. I asked this somewhere else and all anybody wanted to know was if I wanted any help hacking WEP. This is not the kind of thing i'm interested in.

So, is there anyone that has any info or a site that might help me?
