iam trying to write my own encryption. if anyone can help me by telling me how or were for me to start writing my own encryption. i wanna b able to stop someone from taking my info. so is there a site or a software that would teach me how to write a encryption and understand what the characters mean. cuz iam beginner and its kinda hard for me to understand the slang and codeing. need advise...thanks

No one will give you an illegal copy of VB or any other software.
If you are a student you can probably get an academic copy for a reasonable price. Or check on EBay. |

Piracy is illegal, and i for one dont support it. There are reasons for the high price for the software. I dont think many people would like to think that a program they had developed for a long time was being given away.

if you're wanting to learn encryption for free, why don't you write some code in DOS with .kix scripts or .bat files. While VB is a proprietary technology to Microsoft, I had found free C++ and C compilers at one time. You would do much better to learn one of those if you're just starting in programming. It's much harder, but you understand more of memory management when you use it. Also, you CAN write a VB program in notepad... but it's a little harder. Here's proof
