Resetting File Permissions Using VBScript at Logoff
I'm hoping someone wiser here can give me a hand on something...
I'm a networker, not a coder or scripter. Just the same, my organization sent me to a three day VB Script class (of which I attended only two, having been called out of the third day by a customer). However, because of this exposure to Microsoft-sanctioned schooling, I've now been handed a VB script project:
Reset inherited permissions on a certain series of files upon logoff, so they can be backed up.
This is on a W2K AD setup, with about 3,000 users or so. Like I said, I'm not a scripter...does anyone have any pointers on this? I've been looking through MSDN, but haven't found anything basic enough to start with.
Thanks in advance!
