I'm pretty new to this site, and I'm not trying to insult anyone (although this post is propably going to no matter what I say, so sorry in advance), but what is the point of sending someone in a vb forum to another forum?

I don't know VB half as much as I used to, so sorry if I ask a very stupid question. Are you using VBA (macros) or straight VB? If you are using macro's, the best way to get an answer to most questions is to record a macro and see how they did it (this is not always the best way to do something, but it is usually helpfull).

Anyway, if it's VBA you need, I can propably help, otherwise I have just waisted your time. Sorry.

No offense taken. The point of the forum reference was that that forum was explicitly for MS Excel and Visual Basic. And in being so, that forum will have a deeper wealth of knowledge in that area, thus increasing the chances of not only getting a reply, but a reply that can assist you.

Oh, cool. I didn't realise that. Sorry, as you can guess it was very confusing when I checked the site out, and it was another forum... but, That's horrible. I don't know anything abt VB (anymore), but I can help in excel. Guess I'll hang out there as well, when I don't have any web questions 2 anwer Thanx 4 the insight.
