Selecting at page load a particular entry in a DropDownComboBox

I have a db of people that details certain attributes i.e Hair colour and Eye colour. I the VB6 app I am building I have a screen that displays these entries and allows the user to update the attributes.

The attributes are displayed in a datacombobox populated by a adodc connection to a table listing the individual values for each attribute ie. Hair colour has a drop down containing Brown, Black, Blonde. If I have a record in my main Table of people that has brown hair. How do I get the drop down box to display this value.

I am still a VB novice and I am sure this is very easy. Any help would be great.
