Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me, I have writen a macro in excel for a report, but I am having trouble figuring out how to select cells with specific data in them, cut them and paste them into another sheet, I get the cutting and pasting part, but the cells are not constant they change everytime the report is run off (twice a month). Could anyone give me a n idea of where to look for the answer, I have tried various other places and short of spending hundreds of pounds on x number of books, I am stuck. If any one can help I can explain further. Thanks in advance kat ![]() |

How are you putting the values into the cells? are you looping through some calculation and plotting them in, or has the excel sheet been created outside of your code?

What I am doing is running off a report, which comes out in a jumbled mess, tidying it up, it comes off in 1 main sheet, it is for a number of people (each one has there own 3 letter code) and I then have to separate out the specific persons into their own sheet still in the excel sheet.
an example of the row of information that has to be transfered is as follows A7 B7 C7 D7 E7 F7 G7 Post Co Area Sub Town Con Site Pnl ALD 0202 01 Bury CB CA 0288 01 H7 I7 J7 Panel Address Size Stream 392/396 WALMERSLEY RD 48 NA48PRES1B K7 L7 Campaign Change Of Design Name 0000014116 - EASYJET AIRLINES EASYJET M7 Post Over 0000013846 - BT 118 500 I gues the best idea is to filter them out, but as I said they are constantly changing the amount of records every two weeks. Thanks for you help Kat ![]() |
