SuperShell API in Windows XP
Hello. I have a VB6 app that I run in Win98. This app uses the SuperShell API to open a shared folder with a password and which resides in another computer. However, when I use the same app in a PC with WinXP, the app does not have any more access to that shared folder unless the password protection is removed. I know that this problem is because XP does not allow some API calls. Is there a way around this problem without having to remove the password protection of that shared folder?
Thanks for any help you guys can give.
