VB6 crashes when trying to add a Crystal Reports 8.5 report

Hi,
I'm trying to insert a CR8.5 report into my VB6 app but everytime I try VB crashes and is unloaded.

I work on a Windows XP Pro platform (I used to work on Win98 and it was ok).

i had problem with crystal when i used the
8.5 Designer Design and run time library
vs.
8.5 Designer and run time library

check your references/components.
my environment is vb6/crystal 8.5/winXP.

check the CRAXXDRT.dll,
there's also CRAXDRT.dll

Hi,

I have the same problem but I resolve than.

Try these:

1 - Add a Crystal Report Viewer Control in the General Tab;

2 - Now you can add a Crystal Reports 8.5 report in your project.

Works with me.

try this

go to vb cd installer. go to common folder,tools folder,vb folder,and lastly crysrep folder.... u can install CR from there...
