well everything makes sense except the end when u say "do whatever with the total" -u would want to output the accumalted total into the lblExpenses as mentioned in the problem. i havent programmed vB in a while but i believe the Accumulator variable would have to be static so it keeps its value, but on that i may be wrong, but surely in the implementation u will be able to see.

One question, why not update the label variable for each time that the user entered in data?
