Microsoft Excel 2002 has a workbook method called .CanCheckOut and .CheckOut but all my attempts to use it have failed. I can't find verbose help on MSDN so I was wondering if anyone out there in the world has been able to make these methods work and if so, would they be willing to share the knowledge. I think there has to be some sort of publishing event that you do to the file to make it 'checkoutable'...but that is only my initial reaction.
Tnx jcm |

I found this information on the .checkout method in word...I assume the same it true for excel. Back to the drawing board.
To take advantage of the collaboration features built into Word, documents must be stored on a Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server. -jcm |
