    Cursor trouble

Hi, when you create a console application on VB.NET and you need the user to input a required answer and the cursor appears flush to the left wall of the window when you run the program is it possible to indent the start of the input for example if a square bracket was the left wall of the window and the underscore was the cursor like this -> ]_ can you by implementing some code make it like this -> ] _ for example?

    thanks
    Joe.

I don't understand your question. Whatever is shown in the user's window is a result of your code, so yes you can change appearance by changing your code.

Are you managing the cursor manually for insert, delete and so on? That can be done but you are duplicating the capabilities of the textbox.
Are you seeding the textbox with the bracket character?
Do all of the textboxes have the bracket?
You can simply add a space after the bracket but you'll probably need to strip it to get the user's entry.
Is this for appearance due to the textbox blends in with the background and has no border?
You could make the '[' a separate label a bit away from the textbox and it would not be a part of the user's input.
