auto submit wap form
Hi im trying to do something that relativley simple in html IM JUST TRYING TO AUTO SUBMIT A WML FORM WHEN THE PAGE LOADS. MY IMMEDIATE THOUGHTS WAS TO USE THE ON TIMER EVENT TO SUBMIT FORM HOWEVER IM NOT SURE EXACTLEY IF THIS WOULD WORK. OBVIOUSLY I CANT USE JAVASCRIPT AS WAP DOESNT SUPPORT THIS. ANY IDEAS GUYS

I think you should use the onenterforward event instead of the ontimer event. The onenterforward event is raised when the browser loads a card (Noted that this event is not raised if you go backwards). An example about auto submitting a wml form when a card loads can be found at http://www.developershome.com/wap/w...SendingData.asp To understand more about WML events, have a look at http://www.developershome.com/wap/wml/wmlEvents.asp Quote:
WML supports WMLScript, which is very similar to JavaScript. |

The ontimer event should be used if you want to do something after a certain time. Have a look at http://www.developershome.com/wap/wml/wmlEvents.asp to learn different WML events. Hope that helps. |
