Browse on a real handset
Hello,
I have constructed a apache server and some wml files with php and mysql at home when i use emulator to browse on my wml pages from the outside world, everything is ok but when i use my wap phone to access to my apache server by entering URL address  ort/try.wml, it fails...(1)can anyone suggest the cause of this? (2)do I need to do registration to the wap gateway provider? (3)if my wap gateway provider can't connect to private server like my server at home, what can i do to make my content accessable from the outside world? thank you for helping me  actually this is a final year project in my school I will be failed if i can't browse it in real handset.......  so please help me..... thank you very much

(1)Maybe your WAP service provider doesn't support numeric web addresses?
(2)Shouldn't have to (3)Get a domain, and host your site somewhere. Q1: Is your IP address correct? Q2: Can you access the page through a web browser, i.e. Opera or WML browser with Firefox? I have apache on my home PC, and on my web server, no spcieal configuration, and I am able to access all sites.

Thank you very much!
(1)The IP address is correct since html content can be viewed by the outside world by typing IP ort number to the web browser(2)The wml files can be accessed by mobile browser simulator and gateway simulator, but not a real handset (3)I have get a domain and try to access my server by typing the domain instead of IP but still not work....

No ads banner will add on it I use different ISP to connect to my server today it still not work.... I am now thinking will the port number be a problem? since my ISP block the standard 80 port I have to use different port rather than 80 in order to serve content request so when i enter the URL in my phone, it will be http://address(NOT IP):8000/try.wml Is this ok?
