Hello
I want to integrate PHP WML and JavaScript. So I want to know does WML supports javaScript? if yes the how? from where i can get better tutorials for it? Thanks. |

Actually WAP supports WMLScript which is a special dialect of JavaScript.

Welcome to DS.
Yes you can, but again it really depends on the phone whether it supports JS or not. Some Nokia phones at least support AJAX, take a look at this thread. HTH. |

With older phones, you won't be able to use XHTML MP at all -
WML only.... so WML script would be the way. For not so old phones, you could almost certainly forget about JS support. Your safest bet is always server-side. Of course, you want to reduce the amount of user input on a mobile device, but you should always use SS as a back-up anyway.... What exactly are you trying to achieve? |

One thing I have realized is that the Nokia latest version of SDK is very flakey if you dont have the latest version of Java installed on your computer. Recently, I have been using OpenWave 6.0.
Is there a more popular choice? |
