I'm working in a study-project, that need to draw a chart of some data. But I've only found that in a wapsite, we may only embed images in format of wbmp.
--> do you have any solution for me? thanks for your help ![]() |

Use XHTML MP -
check and make sure they support GIF or image type of your choice (user_accept).... bobs your uncle. Welcome to the shed, btw...

Thank you much , by your suggestion, I've found that:"Development of Wireless Markup Languages HTML WML 1.x XHTML XHTML Basic XHTML Mobile Profile WCSS / WAP CSS WML 2.0" --> may be I should use XHTML MP for my wapsite (not WML 1.x) !? but, may be you didn't understand my question: in overview: i need to construct a WAPsite to display some charts - with the data input for those charts is supplied from the server (ex: chart of stock index which the index is fluctuated very often everyday) so, if the mobile client (mobile phone...) only can display an image (for example in the format of WBMP) --> the server must draw the image and send that image data to the m-client to display. Now, I want that, the server only have to send some data (the index data) to the m-client, and client can convert those data to the image data (by drawing itself) and display that image. pls give me another solution PS: it's very nice to be a member of our shed forum! |

If you know your target is business users, chance are they have a phone with a decent spec - go for the newer versions of WML (XHTML).. Quote:
WML and XHTML are mark-up languages - that's all. Something like this needs server-side intervention at least. Quote:
Perhaps then, if it doesn't you could provide a link to a proper image and force the file to be saved to the device? What are you using to "draw" the image - have you got that bit sorted out already. |
