Hello all,
I am absolutely new to this, and will greatly appreciate inputs from you'all. I have an application, whose backend is running of AIX DB2. We want to design an application for handheld devices that will send out results based on user queries. My questions: 1. What kind of infrastructure (hardware and software) will we need to build this kind of an application? 2. Are there application servers available that handle only WAP requests? I will GREATLY appreciate your inputs on this... Regards, Wappie ![]() |

you will need a webserver with some sort of server side application to handle http requests and query your database - ie probably a combination of apache and PHP/PERL.
