How can I get the cell phone number from an incoming request to a WAP page?
I'm new to WAP technology, but I've been programming Java web applications for a few years now.
I've got one simple question ; How can I get the phone number from the cell phone that's requesting to view a WAP page? As far as I can see there's not any such information in the request header, attributes or parameters. So I'm really stuck at this. Hope someone can help ![]() |

you can't just get it from thin air, it's not passed in most cases as a value, if you want to be able to get extra paramaters like that you need to connect direct to networks or find someone out there who can offer msisdn recognition over the air.
