WML - How dynamically display text on Phone
Hi All,

I am trying to write a simple WAP application.

I send text from a PC via HTTP to a php handler on my WAP server website (works fine). I then need to display this text on a phone display. Sounds easy I know but I'm struggling!

I completed the same kind of project for a non-WAP website and I got by with a TextArea and getElementById() using JavaScript and aspx.

I have looked at using a WML card - but there is no TextArea element. I could change the text on the whole card (If I knew how!).

Should I be using xHTML MP which seems much more powerful? A primary concern is the ability to work across most phone models ie less than say 4 years old - would these have xHTML browsers?

ANY suggestions please?? ...

xHTML no client-side scripts
Hi All,

xHTML has no client-side scripting! So the only game in town seems to be WML/WMLScript. I tried this with Opera. The wml is fine but when I run a script it just gives me the text of the file.

Please can anybody recommend a minimal easy to use emulator?
