how to find out if handset supports sessions
hi all
is there any way to find out if particular handsets support sessions or is this completely different from cookies? i know sessions are stored server side, so i assume that should not be a problem, but i just want to make sure. i've been looking at some handsets through this smartphone emulator, and all the session variables are showing up just wanted to make sure that this would be the same on an actual handset thanks dave |

Don't suppose there is an absolutely fail-safe way of doing this. I suppose you would have to do it as you would for a browser - try to set a cookie on the first page. If it doesn't bite, then pass the session through the url.
